These forklifts replace conventional reach and counterbalanced fork trucks in standard warehouse operations. They can operate in very narrow aisles, replacing reach and counterbalanced trucks that require much wider aisles. This versatility maximizes material handling productivity and storage density.
The Drexel SLT range of forklifts performs the same jobs as reach and counterbalanced trucks but in aisles over 50% smaller. This means they offer significantly higher storage density, enabling warehouses to optimize space utilization without compromising on functionality or productivity.
The Drexel SLT30AC and SLT35AC forklifts are 3-wheel front/side loading VNA forklifts with a single smooth rubber rear-drive/steer tire and solid poly-front load tires. They have a starting capacity of 3,000 lbs or 3,500 lbs at 24″ load center and lift heights available to 26′. The front mast rotates 90° and has side shift of 20”, allowing stacking easily in Very Narrow Aisles.
“Wire Guidance” is an available option for these models, allowing safe full-speed travel in the narrowest aisles. This feature enhances safety and precision during operation in confined spaces, contributing to overall productivity.
It is an OSHA requirement that all forklift operators have proper training and certification on each class of powered industrial they will use. TOTAL WAREHOUSE offers training at your location or ours for all classes of warehouse equipment- including Drexel Forklifts.
